Last night we watched some episodes of “The Goodies” a sketch comedy show that started in the UK in the early 70’s. It’s like Benny Hill and monty python in some ways and is very funny. Giovanna’s favorite episodes are “Radio Goodies” when they start a pirate radio station and post office and “kung fu kapers” when bill tells how he became a master of ‘ecky thump.’ both episodes are hilarious, but my favorite episode is “the movies” when bill, tim, and graeme become movie producers but can’t agree on what type of movie to make. The last sequence is very surreal and funny at the same time. here is the opening theme. i think there are some pieces of episodes on youtube as well.
